Select one of the frequently asked questions below to learn more about buying, selling, and renting a timeshare. Also, begin to think about important things to consider when diving into your timeshare search.

How do I add a posting?

Follow these step-by-step instructions:

  1. Click on the Create a Listing button on the top right of the website.
  2. Fill in your timeshare information. Please input as much useful information as you can in the fields available.
  3. Be certain to click the “Status” drop down to select if you are wishing to sell your timeshare or rent your timeshare.
  4. Enter all pricing and unit information. On your rentals, please make sure you enter the price in $USD for the entire interval.
  5. On the Photos section, browse for any digital photos you have stored on your computer. If you need help finding an image, please continue making your post and then reach out to us. We will help provide an image for you to use!
  6. Enter your email address at the bottom.
  7. Click on the Submit Property button at the bottom of the page.
  8. Finally, simply place your order.

What is the cost?

Membership is currently $28 per month and is required to add a rental or resale. If you require additional support, we can submit your listing for you at a small additional fee. Please contact us if you require this.

How does TimeshareCommerce work?

TimeshareCommerce is a do-it-yourself timeshare marketplace. Here, owners advertise their timeshares for rent and resale and are contacted directly to arrange a transaction. While we create a community for transactions to take place, we do not control the transaction, nor do we charge additional fees or commissions for transactions.

All payment arrangements should be made between the owner and renter/buyer.

How do I contact an owner?

You can make contact with an owner about a rental or resale posting from their posting page. There is a contact box on the right hand side of the posting page. You do not have to pay to make contact with an owner.

What to do if I've forgotten my password?

If you’ve lost or forgotten your password, simply click on the Sign In/Register link and then select the ‘lost your password’ link. Enter your email address and you will receive a link to reset your password.

Do you have a rental agreement?

Of course! We have a template rental agreement prepared for our users to use. Simply email us at [email protected] and we will provide you a copy!

How do I inquire about a posting?

You will need to contact the owner of the posting directly. On the posting page, there is a box on the right hand side which will provide fields to directly contact the owner of the post.

What if the week I want is not available?

Since timeshare owners post their own weeks for rent or sale, we do not have any inventory other than what you see posted.

How long does it take for a response to an inquiry?

Since you almost always deal with an individual timeshare owner on timesharecommerce.com, the response time can vary. We typically ask that you give every owner around one week to reply. Most timeshare owners have families and lives, but we have found our members are usually very quick to respond! If you have not received a response after one week, contact us at [email protected] and we will reach out to the timeshare owner for you.

Are nightly rentals available?

Most timeshares are allotted in weekly segments. Since they must pay maintenance fees to use this week every year, nightly rentals are not often an ideal option. However, if you are willing to pay the full weekly rental price, staying for a shorter interval should not be a problem. Please contact the posting member directly to make such arrangements.

How will I receive inquiries?

When a party is interested, they will contact you by e-mail through your posting page. The e-mail will be sent directly to the address you registered with. Please check your email frequently to be able to respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

Where can I post my timeshare points?

If your timeshare consists of points instead of week(s), simply select the points option when creating your listing then input the number of points your timeshare has.
